EXPERIENCES & HIGHLIGHTS
The Butchart Gardens are truly spectacular in the spring, featuring thousands of flowering bulbs, shrubs and trees bursting forth with renewed life.  ‘The Garden that Love Built’ was created by Prince and Princess Abkhazis in 1946. Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at the world-renowned Abkhazi Teahouse while learning more about the gardens.  Craigdarroch and Hatley Castles were once home to the eccentric Dunsmuir family who had a colorful history and the occasional scandal.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 Arrive in Vancouver’s west end and check into the beautiful, modern Listel Hotel. Tour nearby Stanley Park Gardens or simply visit the neighboring shops and restaurants. End the day with a welcome dinner at the historic Sylvia Hotel.

DAY 2 Following breakfast, we depart for the ferry to Victoria. This afternoon enjoy high tea at the Abkhazi Tea House while enjoying the famous gardens. Our accommodation for the next three nights is the classic Huntingdon Manor, located in the heart of Inner Harbor.

DAY 3 The grandeur and history of Hatley Castlewill stimulate the imagination as you immerse yourself in its’ stunning architecture and gardens. You will then be whisked away to the spectacular Butchart Gardens. The 55 acres of floral finery awaits you as you stroll along meandering paths and expansive lawns.

DAY 4 After breakfast we begin the day with a guided tour of the majestic Craigdarroch Castle. The castle weaves a fascinating tale of the Dunsmuir family. This
legendary Victorian mansion, built in 1887, announced to the world that Robert Dunsmuir was the richest and most important. man in Western Canada. Next,
we visit Government House Gardens which embrace 36 acres of formal gardens.

DAY 5 Following breakfast, board BC Ferries as we make our way back to the mainland. Bidding farewell to new-found friends, we return home
