On a cold November day in 1996 while forking hay to the cows, ‘Head Cow’ Anna Marie Lea, pregnant with her son James, fell face first into a pile of fresh Cow Patties, hence the Cow Patti Theatre Company was born.

A riotously funny play, by Norm Foster, about two married couples and a weekend getaway that gets hilariously twisted with grievances, desires, and secrets that spill out and spark a belly aches from nonstop laughter!

When Max and Wynn invite their friends Roger and Abby up for a weekend at their country home, the true nature of their relationships come to the surface. The truth and lies of a friendship come to the surface during a weekend visit between two couples. There are plenty of surprises along the way in this comedy of manners.

The Long Weekend is a hilarious tangled web of truths deception and surprises that leaves the audience guessing and wondering – is the grass always greener on the other side?
